Lisbon Ct. Well 2021 is finally here and hoping it is better than 2020 for all. SCoNE has been busy the last month or so putting together stuff for our 2021 season. With all six New England states having some type of travel restrictions and group gathering restrictions our series awards banquet will not be scheduled until those restrictions have been lifted. Just a little update on what is going on with Sprint Cars of New England. We had a series meeting on January 23 which was well attended by the teams. Things discussed were our schedule, rules, sponsorships, etc. SCoNE has been working on the schedule and hoping to have around 15 events in 2021. Well winter is just about over here in New England so that means after a couple spring time snow storms it will be time to get ready for racing season. The offseason was spent trying to organize somethings for the series and working to get the schedule done. The schedule is done and posted here on our schedule tab. Thomaston CT- Sprint Cars of New England has recently signed an agreement with JRC Transportation to be the Series title sponsor for the 2021 race season. JRC Transportation located in Thomaston, CT is owned and operated by Ray Cappella who has been involved in racing for several decades including a longtime relationship with World of Outlaws star David Gravel. Wentworth, NH- The JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England rolled into RumTown Speedway on Saturday for the their first appearance of the year. With some teams having mechanical problems, family obligations, track starting time, and maybe other reasons , we had a shorter field than we had hoped, but it was still a good race for all our teams. Wentworth , NH - Saturday afternoon at RumTown Speedway the JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England returned for their second visit of the season. With the track reworked to what it was last season the winged sprint cars put on a good race once again. Wentworth, NH - After a month off , The JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England teams showed up at RumTown Speedway for the John Berry Memorial Sprint Car Spectacular. The car count was low again so with only nine cars there would only be one heat race.
