Sprint Cars of New England is happy to release our 2020 racing schedule. Our series will have 18 race events at 4 different tracks in 2 states this season. Returning tracks are Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford , VT. , Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven , VT. , and RumTown Speedway in Wentworth , NH. A new track this season will be The Flat Track at NHMS in Loudon , NH. In a gathering of SCoNE series 2019 competitors and 2020 hopefuls, all had met up for a 2020 series meeting and a 2019 awards dinner in Plymouth , New Hampshire at The Common Man Inn and Spa , on Saturday March 14th. Sprint Cars of New England does not have much to announce for upcoming racing, but we do have some news regarding upcoming racing in 2020. As of this writing we have canceled our 5th race of 2020 with Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, VT canceling this Saturday's event on 6/13/20 due to COVID-19 restrictions. So here we go starting on Thursday 7/2 at Devil's Bowl Speedway in West Haven VT with a great night of racing . This race will allow fans in attendance with limited seats available in various ways to watch the races . Just a little update on what is going on with Sprint Cars of New England. We had a series meeting on January 23 which was well attended by the teams. Things discussed were our schedule, rules, sponsorships, etc. SCoNE has been working on the schedule and hoping to have around 15 events in 2021. Well winter is just about over here in New England so that means after a couple spring time snow storms it will be time to get ready for racing season. The 2022 season will begin in just under 90 days time. Once the snow is gone and mud season dries up a little the winged 360 sprint cars will be racing at dirt tracks here in New England. The schedule is complete and will be released soon. The series will visit a new track this year, with New Hampshire Motor Speedway putting down a new clay surface on The Flat Track. Wentworth, NH - Friday night's first appearance of 2022 for The JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England did not go as planned. With a forecast of scattered showers the track decided to race and it started off ok. With the teams arriving under some clouds and the sun trying to poke through, a quick light shower popped up just before motor heat.
