With the weather improving and still a chance of showers , track management decided to run features only. The Green Mountain Gear Heads Sprint Cars of New England started off the Labor Day Weekend Saturday, racing at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford , VT for Valley Floors Night. With 11 cars on hand that was enough for two heat races. It was Rick Stone in the 41U taking down the win in the O'Reilly Auto Parts heat race number one. The Green Mountain Gear-Heads Sprint Cars of New England appeared at Bear Ridge Speedway for the second consecutive week with Will Hull once again picking up the win after an exciting mid race battle with Clay Dow . Floyd Billington and Mike Kondrat brought the field to green with Kondrat leading the first lap before Billington annexed the top spot . The Green Mountain Gear - Heads Sprint Cars of New England once again appeared at Bear Ridge Speedway on July 27th ; making up an event rained out earlier in the season and found a multi groove racy track come feature time which resulted in a fast caution free event . When the feature rolled off Kurt Conklin and Mark Cole made up the front row with Conklin getting the jump when the green flew.
