Bradford , VT - Saturday night The JRC Transportation Sprint cars of New England returned to Bear Ridge Speedway. It was a good night for Clay Dow picking up the win , but not so good for a few others. With just eleven cars on hand it was enough for two heat races. Scott Holcomb won the FK Rod Ends Heat race. Jordan Fornwalt won the O'Reilly Auto Parts heat race. Two time series champion Will Hull Flipped his number 61 sprint car in hot laps and was done for the night as his car had to much damage to repair at the track. Hull was not injured. After the invert , the field was set to go with Jake Williams starting on the pole looking for his first win of 2021, with Doug McPhail along side. At the green flag it was Williams getting out front followed by McPhail with Dow , and Matt Hoyt and Chris Donnelly. As the field was racing it was the 07 of Hoyt moving past Dow and closing on McPhail. Lap five saw the Jordan Fornwalt car spin and collecting Caleb Lamson, Lamson was able to continue on while Fornwalt brought his 24 to the pit area and was done for the event. On the restart Hoyt got bye Williams and McPhail and was leading at the line. Matt Hoyt continued to dominate the next fifteen laps and was almost a half track lead when he caught the right rear tire of a car being lapped. That sent Hoyt high into the air and came down on the nose of his car on the concrete retaining wall and destroying that beautiful 07 car. Hoyt was not injured but awful upset knowing he had such a good race car with a huge lead. On the lap twenty restart it was Williams again getting the jump over Donnelly this time with Dow in tow. While Williams was out front Donnelly and Dow were racing hard for the bottom and Dow was able to get by Donnelly and start to chase down Williams. Williams led the white flag but the 31 of Dow was digging on the bottom and was able to beat Williams to the line by just a couple inches, Williams was second followed by Donnelly in third.

During the event The JRC Transportation Sprint Cars of New England was handing out some NOS Energy Drink to races in the pit area, Jake Williams just need one more sip of that Turbo NOS Energy Drink.
Matt Hoyt was a good sport about was happened to him during the race and other teams helped the Hoyt Family get the wrecked race car torn apart enough to get it in the trailer. So we had Matt pose with the Feature Winner sign.
